Ratings (the higher the better)
Large Cells
Large Cells: Rating of how large the pictures that make up the mosaics (ie. cells) are. Cells should be as large as the possible.
No Superimposing
No Superimposing: Rating of the absence superimposing of the target source image on top of the tiles photos. True mosaic do not use superimposing.
Low Colorization
Low Colorization: Rating of usage of each cell's natural color. Cell images should be of their original color and contrast; heavy color adjustments should be avoided.
Source Clarity
Source Clarity: Rating of how closely the final mosaic resembles the target source image from a reasonable distance.
Print Resolution
Print Resolution: Rating of the print clarity and resolution. Mosaics should be rendered and printed at the highest resolution possible (i.e. 2800+ dpi).
Image Usage
Image Usage: Rating of the overall usage of your photos. All or most of your images should be used in the mosaic.
Price
Price: Rating of the cost of the mosaic service or product.
Customer Service
Customer Service: Rating of how helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and timely the company was.
Ease of Ordering
Ease of Ordering: Rating of how easy it was to place an order and submit photos

A little TOO simple

The Print Mosaic site seemed very simple, no frills. But maybe that should've been a red flag? The mosaic quality certainly had no frills! Definitely not a real photo mosaic, just a grid of photos faded or darkened to create a fake mosaic. I was thoroughly disappointed with my mosaic. Next time, I'll be sure to do a little more research before choosing a photo mosaic company.

Cell photos are too faded!

I found a few different photo mosaic creators online and figured I would start off with one of the more inexpensive options. Print Mosaic had a pretty clean and easy to use website, but I couldn't get a great look at my finished mosaic on the website. I figured, what the heck, its not expensive, so I ordered the print. Well, I certainly got what I paid for. The cell photos are so colorized and small that I can barely see the photos! It looks very unnatural and it actually takes away from the clearness of the full mosaic. I can't believe it. I certainly won't be ordering from Print Mosaic again.

Cheap, but not worth the money!

The price was low - and so was the quality! I chose Print Mosaic because their prices were fair, but now I'm thinking I was still ripped off. My mosaic print arrived just the other day and I am not happy with it. The cell images are so small and over-saturated with color that they're nearly indistinguishable. And every cell has a black border around it! I could see that in the online preview, but I didn't think it would be such a big deal. It really takes away from the photo mosaic as a whole. Overall, I'm very disappointed.
