I was scrolling through Twitter the other day and saw many people tweeting about an online photo mosaic sponsored by SpaceX and NASA! With so many students not being able to celebrate graduation this year, SpaceX is creating a mosaic of graduates to send to space! How cool is that?!

We all know many students this year that are bummed because COVID-19 cut the school year short and they can no longer have their in person graduation celebrations. SpaceX is celebrating the graduates by allowing them to upload their photo to be a part of the mosaic that will then be printed and sent to space on the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft!

“If you graduated or are scheduled to graduate in 2020, upload your photo to the mosaic of Earth below, which will be printed and flown aboard SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft during its upcoming mission to the International Space Station with NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley on board.”

I visited the online mosaic and saw so many pictures have already been uploaded by graduates of all ages from all over the world! You can zoom in, see all the happy grads and can click on individual images to share them via Twitter, Facebook and URL.

Hurry up and share with all the graduates you know, as it is only running until May 20th. I am definitely going to be sharing this with all of my teacher friends to share with their graduating students!

From the looks of the interface, I have a hunch that Picture Mosaics may had something to do with the mosaic!
