with his “Emoji Portraits”
It’s almost 2019 and we live in a world where we celebrate holidays like “National Margarita Day” (hey, I’m not judging), communicate through gifs, and memes are a primary source of entertainment. So, it only makes sense that emojis are now considered a fine art medium! Check out these photo mosaic celebrity portraits made out of emojis!

Jake Patterson aka Yunk Jake uses cartoon tennis balls, burgers, fist pumps, and more to create these photo mosaic style portraits of our favorite celebrities.

Using the online tool, emoji.ink the artist drags and arranges thousands of the little images to make realistic and 3-dimensional mosaic portraits. Jake has created portraits of celebrities like Ellen, Donald Glover asa Childish Gambino, David Bowie, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber and many more. I can’t wait to see who he creates next!
