If you’re familiar with my site, then you know that I have a page dedicated to Live Event Mosaics detailing all of the amazing features for the state of the art photo mosaic activation. So naturally, I want to share a Live Event Mosaic that took place recently at the X Games!

For the 2020 Winter X Games, the nonprofit No Bully organized a booth for their #ShredHate initiative where they built a Live Event Mosaic. Spectators and athletes came together in an effort to help spread the message to #ShredHate and #ChooseKindness! No Bully had this to say in a post about the mural:

“If you’re at the #XGames, come by our #ShredHate booth and #ChooseKindness by posting to our mosaic wall! There are still chances to win our giveaway if your photo goes to a winning square!! Not at the X Games? You can still win by posting to our virtual wall in the link in our bio!!”

I visited the virtual wall where fans could submit their photo in the online mosaic. When you arrive at the page, photos pop in and out of the mosaic making it fun to see where each photo comes from in the main image. Users can then search for their photo and caption and share it on social media!

After browsing the event hashtag #ShredHate on Instagram, I was able to see a ton of photos posted from the event. In addition to an autograph table, NoBully provided event-goers with photo takeaways!

The Shred Hate mosaic also included prize locations! If a guest’s photo lands on a prize location, they win! All images are printed with coordinates making it easy to find the exact location on the grid to place photos

I came across the above post while exploring the hashtag and discovered that Picture Mosaics was the company behind this activation. I have reviewed Picture Mosaics in the past and I was pleased to learn they were the company behind this awesome mosaic!
